Job Description

Company Overview Keystone Management, incorporated in 1984, offers apartments and townhomes for rent in New Hampshire, Maine, and North Carolina. Over our more than 40 years in business, we've come to manage approximately 11,000 apartments and 100,000 SF of commercial office space. We are comprised of a full-time staff of over 350 people, including our administrative and maintenance staff. Property Manager Position Overview We are looking for a LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) Property Manager to oversee the daily operations, financial performance, and strict regulatory compliance of our affordable housing community. They would be responsible for income certifications, tenant file audits, rent collection, and maintaining high occupancy, ensuring adherence to IRS Section 42 regulations, Fair Housing laws, and investor requirements. The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our apartment community, maintaining resident satisfaction, and ensuring the properties operate efficiently and profitably. This role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day property operations, including leasing, renewals, and rent collection. Show and lease vacant apartments, ensuring units are ready for new residents. Prepare and distribute late rent notices, file eviction paperwork, and represent the company in court as needed. Order office supplies as required and manage inventory. Work directly with residents to address concerns and maintain high resident satisfaction. Communicate regularly with the corporate office regarding property performance, resident issues, and operational needs. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair services in the absence of a lead tech. Ensure compliance with all company policies, lease agreements, and fair housing regulations. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to leasing and financial operations. Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager or Corporate Office. Qualifications Proven Property Management experience in property management, leasing, or multifamily housing operations. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer service. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Yardi Software preferred. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Dependable, professional, and adaptable to an evolving work environment. Reliable transportation required. Employment depends on a background check in accordance with applicable laws.
