Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and attention to food safety standards. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and dedication to delivering high-quality meals will help create a memorable dining experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and grow within a vibrant food service environment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal planning and food presentation to ensure visual appeal and quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage Follow all food safety protocols, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures Support catering events by preparing dishes in large quantities with efficiency and consistency Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with dietary guidelines and customer preferences Experience Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Experience with menu planning, food service, and catering operations is advantageous Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure Enthusiasm for culinary arts, with a focus on delivering excellent food service experiences
