Competitive; based on experience Position Summary Beach Happy Cafe & Cocktails is seeking a skilled, dependable, and energetic Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to company recipes and standards while ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and timely service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering an outstanding guest dining experience. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Execution Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and portion guidelines. Set up and stock assigned stations with all necessary supplies before service. Ensure all food is prepared and plated accurately, consistently, and efficiently. Monitor food quality and freshness throughout each shift. Assist with daily prep and station breakdown/cleanup. Kitchen Operations Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned stations and work areas. Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service execution. Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during service. Follow all ticket times and prioritize orders to support timely guest service. Safety & Sanitation Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Maintain proper food handling, labeling, storage, and temperature controls. Clean and properly maintain kitchen equipment, tools, and workstations. Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly. Teamwork & Culture Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members. Maintain a positive, professional attitude in a high-volume environment. Support team goals and contribute to a culture of accountability and excellence. Qualifications Previous line cook or relevant kitchen experience preferred. Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in hot, fast-paced kitchen conditions. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.Pay:
