Line Cook

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking various food items in accordance with company recipes and standards. Duties

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
• Cook and plate menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Ensure a high standard of food presentation
• Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with inventory management and storage of food items Experience
• Proven experience working as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in a restaurant, catering, or dietary department is a plus
