Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Line Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this role, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing delicious dishes that delight our guests and elevate their dining experience. We're seeking energetic, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in their culinary skills. Whether you're an experienced chef or an eager culinary enthusiast, this position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to a lively food service environment. Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to deliver exceptional meals Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to streamline kitchen operations Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and a positive dining atmosphere Experience Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments is highly desirable Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques are essential Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices is required Experience working in restaurants or the food industry demonstrates your ability to thrive under pressure Culinary experience including menu planning, food presentation, and kitchen operations is a plus Excellent serving skills and the ability to work as part of a team will help you succeed in this role
