Line Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a line cook, you will be responsible for cooking and delivering per Hotel Standards. Must be able to multi task in a fast - paced environment to perform breakfast, lunch and dinner service when necessary. There may be a need to fill in during busy banquets as well.

Duties:

Oversee and participate in food preparation, cooking and production Properly store all foods Responsible for a clean work station and walk ins Oversee proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment Responsible for breaking down dish up station and storing leftover foods after banquet services Responsible for breakdown and cleanup after shift

Requirements:

1-2 years hands on operational experience in food service operations Familiar in the operation of most kitchen equipment, general sanitation procedures, and overall basic knowledge of food handling procedures Able to listen and communicate with fellow employees Must take constructive criticism Attention to detail to deliver food per standards Must have 1+ years line cook experience and ability to work flexible shifts including morning shift (6am to 2pm) or evening shifts, weekends and holidays
