Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines Support menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability for daily specials Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, storage protocols, and hygiene practices Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent service during busy hours Assist with catering events or special functions as needed, demonstrating flexibility and enthusiasm Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment, with a strong foundation in kitchen operations and food preparation Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Proficiency in knife skills, meal preparation, and cooking techniques across various cuisines Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities Experience in menu planning, catering, or serving is advantageous but not required Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
