Duties Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools Sort and organize clean items for proper storage in designated areas Ensure all food handling and cleaning procedures comply with food safety standards and sanitation regulations Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed, including ingredient prep and portioning Support the kitchen team during meal service by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly Maintain a tidy work area by regularly cleaning sinks, counters, and dishwashing stations Follow proper waste disposal procedures to uphold cleanliness standards in the kitchen environment Experience Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role preferred but not required Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices Experience working in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus Knowledge of menu planning and food preparation processes is advantageous Exposure to fine dining or restaurant environments enhances suitability for this role Basic culinary skills such as knife handling, meal preparation, and cooking are beneficial Strong understanding of food industry standards related to hygiene and safety Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering quality food service in a fast-paced environment.
