Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and flair, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences, whether in a fine dining setting or catering event. Your culinary expertise and food handling skills will help create memorable meals that delight our guests and elevate our restaurant's reputation. Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency and quality. Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and ensuring ingredient availability. Execute food preparation tasks efficiently, including chopping, marinating, plating, and garnishing dishes. Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout all stages of food handling and preparation. Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service during busy hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to safety guidelines. Keep the kitchen organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food industry setting. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Experience working in fine dining environments or catering is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues. $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
