We partner with clients to help identify and hire the right employees. Our client, Pocono Farms Country Club (Tobyhanna, PA) , is seeking an experienced
LINE COOK
to join our culinary team at Lakeside Grill & Pub . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in consistency and presentation, and is eager to grow their culinary skills in a professional, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef Set up and stock assigned stations with all necessary supplies Ensure food is prepared and presented with consistency, quality, and attention to detail Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Assist with prep work, including chopping, portioning, and basic food preparation Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service Support banquet and event execution as needed
Experience and Skills:
Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen preferred (restaurant, hotel, or country club) Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized under pressure Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented mindset Willingness to learn and take direction Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement within the culinary team Supportive, team-focused work environment Exposure to a variety of dining styles, including à la carte and events Paid medical benefits (after 90 days) IRA savings plan Use of all community amenities and free meals How to Apply Please submit your resume via the link provided.
