Company Overview Located in a scenic region known for its dedication to quality wines, our bistro team is an important part of our business and success. Owned and operated by passionate wine and food enthusiasts, we focus on crafting award-winning wines that pair with the incredible food coming out of our bistro Farm in the Willows. Overview We are on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you'll be an essential part of preparing delicious meals that complement our winery experience. If you love working in a lively kitchen environment and have a passion for food preparation and service, this is a great opportunity to grow your culinary skills while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and quality standards. Assist in food presentation and ensure dishes are served promptly and attractively. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices. Support meal preparation for events or tasting sessions, ensuring consistency and quality. Follow all food safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant work, or culinary environments is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and proper kitchen hygiene practices. Strong knife skills and familiarity with basic cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Experience with menu planning, meal prep, or catering is a plus. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and kitchen operations.
