The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and team leadership within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Experience in fine dining, catering, or banquet settings is highly desirable. The Line Chef will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and excellence of our culinary operations, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing leadership and guidance to ensure smooth operations. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Oversee food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist in menu planning and development to enhance culinary offerings. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Oversee food production for catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation standards. Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards. Manage shift schedules and ensure proper staffing levels for efficient operation. Qualifications Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, or restaurant operations with a focus on fine dining or catering environments. Supervising experience with strong leadership skills and team management capabilities. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation. Familiarity with inventory management, menu planning, and food service management systems. Excellent cooking skills across various cuisines; experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure. Previous experience in hospitality or the food industry with a focus on quality service delivery. Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by operational needs.
