Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols at all times Assist with menu planning and suggest creative ideas to enhance dish presentation and flavor profiles Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently Support the kitchen team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination Contribute to catering events by preparing dishes in large quantities while maintaining quality standards Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills Experience in fine dining or restaurant environments that demand high-quality food presentation Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations within the food industry Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
