Line Cook / Prep Cook / Dishwasher

Wild Strawberry Cafe is hiring a kitchen team member to join our fast-paced, high-volume cafe team. We're looking for someone reliable, hardworking, clean, and able to work well with others in a smaller kitchen environment where teamwork and communication are everything. This position is a combination of line cook, prep cook, and dishwasher responsibilities. We're looking for someone who can move with urgency, stay organized under pressure, and jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed. Position Line Cook / Prep Cook / Dishwasher Availability Weekend availability required Shifts may begin as early as 5:00 AM Must be comfortable opening Looking for someone dependable and consistently on time Responsibilities Supporting line, prep, and dish throughout the shift Assisting with prep work, portioning, stocking, and organization Maintaining cleanliness and efficiency throughout the kitchen Staying on top of dishes and keeping the flow moving during rushes Assisting with opening prep and kitchen setup Working with urgency while maintaining consistency and attention to detail Helping wherever needed to support the team and service flow Maintaining strong communication amongst the kitchen team during busy shifts Ideal Candidate Previous kitchen experience preferred Works well in a fast-paced environment Able to multitask and stay focused under pressure Strong sense of urgency and teamwork Comfortable working in a small kitchen space alongside others Takes direction well and communicates clearly Reliable, punctual, and consistent Positive attitude and strong work ethic Compensation & Perks $22-$23/hour total compensation ($17/hour + tips), depending on experience Employee discount Opportunity for growth and more hours as business grows If you enjoy staying busy, being part of a strong team, and take pride in keeping a kitchen running smoothly, we'd love to meet you!
