In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh salads or frying menu items to deliver exceptional dining experiences. These are two separate job openings. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute to a lively kitchen environment, ensuring each dish meets our high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation, culinary arts, and providing outstanding food service in a fast-paced setting. 1-2 years of kitchen experience preferred in a similar setting. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble salads or fry menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salad or fryer station to ensure food safety and efficiency Follow all food handling and safety protocols, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures Assist with meal preparation for service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety of fried foods or fresh salads Support menu planning efforts by suggesting improvements or new ideas based on customer preferences Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent food service delivery Experience Prior kitchen experience in a restaurant, catering, or food industry setting is highly preferred Experience working in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling and safety standards Fine dining experience or culinary training that emphasizes attention to detail and presentation is advantageous Strong knife skills, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly experience are essential Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is required Previous experience with menu planning, food service, and catering will enhance your ability to succeed in this role Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
