About SouthFork Lodge SouthFork Lodge is a boutique mountain lodge located in the heart of the Boise National Forest along the Payette River. Originally established in 1937, the property is being reimagined into a destination focused on elevated hospitality, outdoor adventure, and thoughtful food experiences rooted in Idaho's landscape and culture. Our kitchen operates with a fresh, evolving menu built around seasonality, creativity, and guest experience. From lodge comfort classics to elevated mountain cuisine, every plate is designed to reflect the environment around us. We are currently seeking a passionate and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team and work directly alongside our Executive Chef in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen. Position Overview This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than a standard kitchen position. We are looking for a cook who takes pride in craftsmanship, consistency, teamwork, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with fresh ingredients, embraces seasonal menu changes, and is excited to help build something unique in one of Idaho's most scenic locations. Responsibilities Prepare and execute menu items with consistency and attention to detail Work directly with the Executive Chef on seasonal and rotating menus Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation Support daily prep, service, and kitchen operations Uphold food safety and sanitation standards Adapt to changing service demands and guest requests Collaborate positively with front-of-house and kitchen staff Qualifications Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and willingness to learn Passion for food, hospitality, and the outdoors Knife skills and understanding of kitchen fundamentals preferred Why SouthFork Lodge?
