Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, assisting in the preparation of meals, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to restaurant specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Participate in catering events as needed, providing support in food preparation and service. Experience Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Familiarity with culinary techniques and kitchen operations will be beneficial for success in this role. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment is highly valued.
