Line Cook/Prep Cook

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the food preparation process, ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with fellow cooks and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation for catering events and daily service. Maintain food safety and handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Keep the kitchen area clean and organized, including proper storage of food items. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in menu planning and development, providing input on new dishes. Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs when necessary. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is required. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling is essential. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and catering services is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality.
