Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items according to established recipes and standards Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment Support menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming shifts and special events Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout your shift Assist with catering orders and special event preparations as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery Skills Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments such as restaurants or catering is highly desirable Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and servers Experience with menu planning, dietary department procedures, or dietary aide roles is a plus Familiarity with the food industry's best practices for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills will shine!
