Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and reliable Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you'll be an essential part of preparing delicious, high-quality meals in a lively kitchen environment. Your main focus will be on food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with meal prep tasks, including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients for efficient kitchen flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and handling protocols. Support the team during busy service hours by ensuring timely food preparation and plating. Follow all health regulations to ensure a safe environment for yourself and your colleagues. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food delivery. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling safety practices and proper knife skills is essential. Experience with menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly. Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques. Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members during service.
