Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha and Micros for order processing and payment transactions. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately, answering questions about menu items, and making recommendations. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist with bussing tables and ensuring the dining area is tidy and welcoming for guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of menu offerings. Skills Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred. Familiarity with POS system Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is a plus. Understanding of sanitation standards within the food industry is essential. Previous experience in serving or cashiering roles is beneficial.
