Summer Learning Camp Dates :

June 22,2026 - July 30 2026 (Monday-Thursday)

Hours :

7:30 AM -12:30 PM (4 days/week)

Additional Days :

2 required prep days prior to June 22, 2026

Reports To :

Summer Program Coordinator Program Implementation & Oversight Complete the required in-person and asynchronous training for Phonics for Reading and Reading Ready prior to camp. Maintain up-to-date assessment and session tracking sheets for student progress Collaborate with the Summer Learning Coordinator and school staff to identify K-5 students needing high-dosage tutoring and prioritize based on need. Supervise student placement assessments and determine optimal groupings Tutor Support Participate in analyzing student performance and adjusting instruction based on formal Unit Checks and observations Follow the curriculum and maintain accurate records Program Evaluation & Reporting Assist in summarizing student and program outcomes Qualifications - Preferred Can be licensed or classified staff member Experience in literacy instruction and/or coordination Familiarity with the Science of Reading and structured literacy practices Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Experience working with elementary-aged students and supervising staff or volunteers

COMPENSATION

Pay rate is $33.00 per hour. This salary range is possible because of a 2026 summer learning grant the district received.
