Litigation Paralegal

Nesco Resource has partnered with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Nassau County, NY in their pursuit to hire a Paralegal with litigation experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative legal team supporting complex and high-level matters.

$95,000 - $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Qualifications:

Paralegal certificate or degree in Paralegal Studies preferred, with 5+ years of litigation experience

Essential Functions and Duties :

Prepare, serve, and file court papers in connection with ongoing litigation matters Coordinate and manage filings in collaboration with process servers Engage in ongoing client communication to ensure timely case coordination and support Prepare and assist with responses to firm audit requests Draft correspondence and support attorneys with calendaring and scheduling Handle electronic filing and service of legal documents for New Jersey, New York and Connecticut state courts, All Federal Courts, Surrogate's Court and Bankruptcy Court Legal research Assist in organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices Cite check and shepardize briefs

Qualifications :
