We are hiring a full-time Live Event Personalization Specialist to join our traveling event team. This role combines hands-on production work at our home base with frequent nationwide travel to support live activations where we engrave and personalize gifts for guests in real time. If you like working with your hands, traveling to new cities, being part of fast-paced live environments, and creating something tangible that people genuinely get excited about — this is a unique opportunity to build technical skills while working at events across the country. You'll be trained on our laser engraving equipment and live activation systems — prior laser experience is helpful but not required. Immediately Initial 1-month trial period to ensure good fit for both parties Core ResponsibilitiesTravel & Event Work Travel throughout the continental U.S. to support on-site personalization activations Set up and operate portable engraving stations at live events Work alongside a small traveling team in fast-paced environments Create personalized gifts for guests in real time Represent Swanky Badger professionally at client locations Load and transport equipment and materials for events Support multiple activations per week during busy periods Primary Duties Operate laser engraving equipment using established workflows Personalize products accurately under live event time constraints Perform quality checks to ensure premium finished results Set up and break down mobile engraving stations Assist with packing, shipping prep, and inventory organization Maintain clean and organized workstations and equipment Secondary Duties General warehouse tasks as needed Shipping & receiving support Basic cleaning and maintenance of equipment Who This Role Is Great For Someone early in their career who wants hands-on technical skills and frequent travel Event, hospitality, or production professionals looking for a more stable full-time role Makers, creators, or technically minded individuals who enjoy working with equipment Team players who thrive in both warehouse and live event environments Schedule & Work Location Full-time / 40 hours per week Warehouse schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm Travel schedule: May include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and multi-day trips depending on event schedules Home base: Vista, CA 92081 Work location: In-person at warehouse and domestic travel Requirements Reliable transportation Ability to travel frequently and on short notice Punctual, dependable, and able to follow detailed instructions Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting equipment/materials English required Experience with lasers preferred, but not required "Class C Driver's License" in good standing Up-to-date REAL ID Ability to regularly lift and transport up to 50 lbs Preferred Skillset Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or other Adobe products (strongly preferred) Experience with XTool Products, or XTool Software Suite Experience with Lightburn (strongly preferred) Experience with Laser Engraving Machines, or other CNC machinery Any previous experience with On-Site experiences (photographer, host, customer service, event coordinator, event planning, etc) Any experience in the promotional products industry
