Live-In Nanny

Overview We are seeking a fun-loving and compassionate live-in nanny to provide care for our 10-month-old daughter and four-year-old son in a positive, nurturing environment. This position will be an amazing opportunity to live in beautiful Coastal Maine with little to no living expenses. Time off on holidays, weekends and some grade school breaks to enjoy exploring the busy harbor towns and nature preserves. The ideal candidate is kind, patient and adventurous with a genuine love for working with children. They enjoy being active and engaged in development by joining in play, encouraging independence and developing a fun, educational atmosphere. This role requires flexibility and creativity to effectively communicate with both children and parents. Duties Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities (going on walks, reading at the library, playing outside, going to the beach, picking flowers, swimming at the Y, exploring the botanical gardens, etc.) Pick up our son from pre-K and provide after school care once a week Prepare meals and snacks, including bottle feeding as needed Keep a clean and organized environment over the course of the day Support children's social emotional health as needed Collaborate with parents to discuss children's progress and any concerns Willingness to travel with family Benefits Private 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment complete with kitchen and laundry facilities ($1,500 per month value) Paid utilities and housing expenses ($500 per month value) Some meals while working Excursion and educational expenses Time off on holidays, weekends, and some school breaks Weekly stipend Additional pay for any weekend or after hours care Experience Experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying, particularly with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Familiarity with meal preparation and cooking healthy meals for children CPR and First Aid Certification required (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong communication skills and reliable Schedule Working hours would be Monday through Friday, from 7:15-3:15.
