Full Job Description Overview:

A&D Freight Carriers, Inc is seeking a dependable and hardworking Loader/Unloader to join our logistics operations team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring freight is loaded, unloaded, sorted, and prepared for timely transportation and delivery. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and freight environment.

Responsibilities:

Load and unload freight from trailers, trucks, and containers safely and efficiently Organize shipments according to delivery schedules and warehouse procedures Inspect cargo for damages and report discrepancies or shortages Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transportation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist warehouse and logistics teams with inventory handling and shipment preparation Follow company safety standards and DOT regulations Work collaboratively with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

Previous warehouse, freight handling, or logistics experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Forklift certification is a plus Reliable attendance and punctuality Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when needed

Pay:

$18.50 - $21.60 per hour
