Range begins at $35,000 but is commensurate with experience and qualifications Central Texas Farm Credit, ACA is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processing and Documentation Specialist to support our borrowers and lending team by ensuring accurate and timely loan processing from application through closing. You will work closely with loan officers, credit analysts, and branch staff to coordinate responsive completion of loan workflows, information processing, and loan closing packages, while ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience is delivered to every borrower. This position is required to work on-site at one of our branch office locations. Exact office will be determined by applicant's residence and branch space availability. Job Purpose and Scope:
Responsible for the collection and verification of necessary documents to process loans from application to booking. Assists loan officers, credit analysts, branch staff, and other association personnel with loan workflow, which includes data input, and coordination of loan closings with title companies and branches. Prepares loan closing document packages, forms, notices and loan reports. Works on less complex loans under direct supervision.
Essential Functions :
  • Manages loan workflow process of assigned loans from application to loan closing in loan origination system.
  • Assists loan officers, credit analysts, and branch staff with data input, and due diligence on any new loan applications.
  • Complies with proper credit administration practices as outlined in the association's policies and procedures.
  • May assist loan officers, credit analysts, and branch staff with monitoring and due diligence of existing loans.
  • Assists loan officers, credit analysts, and branch staff with basic to more complex loan servicing actions.
  • Verifies that all loans are approved by an individual with appropriate delegated lending authority.
  • Verifies that identifying information of applicant(s) is accurate.
  • Completes OFAC search on all applicants when necessary.
  • Prepares and assembles loan closing documents and sends a closing document package to the branch office for execution. Retains copy of the closing packet to compare to executed loans documents before funding.
  • Verifies that all loan information is accurate and that all documents are properly executed before completing the loan origination system setup process to book loan to association's loan accounting system and approving funding.
  • Prepares and sends loan modification documents as requested to the branch office.
Compares executed modification documents with retained copy for accuracy.
Summary of Desired/Required Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate's degree plus two (2) years of experience in the banking or financial services industry. Experience in the administration or processing of commercial and/or mortgage loans preferred. Records new loans, establishes relevant files, and maintains a variety of loan records. Monitors the booking of loans and verify the accuracy of the database. Responds to loan service requests. Assists with customer service inquiries. Works under direct supervision. Specialized knowledge of association bylaws, policies, and procedures. General knowledge of accounting/financial systems. General knowledge of accounting/finance principles. Skill in oral and written communication. Basic skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
