Job Description
Loan Processor Position Position Summary Prepares and reviews loan documents necessary for closing commercial, mortgage, and consumer loans. Promotes Bank's products or services. Develops new business and customer relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare all documents required for ratification or commercial, mortgage, and consumer loans. Process all loan related documents. Assist lending Officers and clients with loan closings. Acts as a liaison between Legacy Bank and legal representatives of its clients for loan matters. Ensures collateral is secured in a timely manner. Ability to comprehend regulatory and bank policy issues when preparing loan documents. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High school diploma or equivalent. Two years' prior banking experience with emphasis on loan administration preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of lending regulations. Working knowledge of loan documents and legal requirements for perfecting various types of collateral. Capacity to make independent decisions. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Organized and accurate in work. Demonstrated initiative. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and remain cognizant of deadlines and schedules. Proven record for meeting deadlines. Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal savvy Ability to work well with customers, staff, attorneys, vendors, and general public. Proven ability to develop relationships. Personable and professional manner. Above average oral, written, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. Computer proficiency including Word and Excel.
