Local CDL Class A Flatbed Driver

Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Local Flatbed Driver to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to operate flatbed trailers within the local region (including the greater Chicagoland area), ensuring timely delivery and pickup of freight while maintaining the highest safety standards. We have ten paid holidays and our safety program allows you to earn up to an extra three days paid time off per year. We have a full time maintenance staff, wash bay staff, in yard fuel and DEF as well as a fully paved parking lot to keep your truck and personal vehicle clean and dust free. Duties Safely operate a variety of flatbed equipment including standard flatbeds, step deck flatbeds and conestogas Secure loads properly on flatbed trailers to prevent shifting or damage during transit Tarping of loads and related activities Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delays, or issues Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during daily operations Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience driving flatbed trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar commercial vehicles Knowledge of load securing techniques and freight handling procedures Familiarity with route driving within local areas and ability to navigate efficiently Live within a reasonable distance of our terminal in Hartford, WI Solid job history•no more than two jobs in the past three years Join our team to enjoy a rewarding career that values your driving skills and dedication! Pay:

$29.00•$31.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0•55.0 per week
