In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to deliver freight efficiently within local routes. Your expertise in driving various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will ensure timely deliveries and exceptional service. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including manual transmission tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks on designated local routes Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Deliver freight accurately to various destinations while adhering to scheduled routes and delivery windows Manage documentation related to deliveries, pickups, and load manifests with precision Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues during deliveries Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with clean driving record Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and handling different truck types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using equipment like forklifts when required Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving Experience with freight handling including load securement and trailer inspections Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers Join us as a Local CDL Class A Truck Driver and take pride in delivering excellence every mile!
