Local CDL Class A Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled CLASS-A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Grain and Feed safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage loading and unloading (Dumping) tasks effectively. Must be able to sleep in the truck when needed. Duties Operate a variety of equipment, including Hopper Bottom, End Dump, & Dump Trailer ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured for transport. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle/equipment to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any issues or delays during transit. Collaborate with dispatchers and warehouse staff to coordinate delivery schedules and routes. Skills Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid commercial driving license (CDL). Strong knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety protocols. Ability to operate various types of trucks/equipment. Experience with load unloading procedures and equipment operation. Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
