Local Class A CDL Driver - Seaside

REIC Rentals is hiring an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver in Seaside, O R to the deliver designated equipment as assigned and ensuring the operator is familiar with delivered equipment. Schedule M-F (no overnights and rare weekends). What you will do As a Local Class A CDL Driver, you will deliver heavy equipment to customer sites in OR and WA state. you will be delivering designated equipment as assigned and Our CDL drivers oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment, ensure the operator is familiar with delivered equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, keep a clean truck with current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required.

REQUIRED

Experience in construction is preferred Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations: Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance Leaving the scene of an accident Committing a felony with a motor vehicle Reckless driving Excessive speed Additional qualifications Have excellent communication skills with dispatch Always think and act with safety in mind Continually seek to improve maintenance and delivery processes Ability to creatively solve problems Self-starter and motivated to provide customer satisfaction Physical demands Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time and the ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching.
