Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated local routes. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary. Drive various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and freight haulers. Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate route schedules and address any issues promptly. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty vehicles. Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks. Experience handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized freight is preferred. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment; forklift certification is a plus. Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety procedures for local deliveries. Strong physical stamina to load/unload cargo and perform vehicle inspections regularly. $850.00 - $1,450.00 per week
