Tour Content Creator ContractorMic Drop Comedy Tours / Broken Drift Productions Broken Drift Productions and Mic Drop Comedy Tours are seeking a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented Tour Content Creator Contractor to help capture and create engaging content for our growing lineup of ghost tours, history walks, and themed storytelling experiences. This position is ideal for someone passionate about social media, local history, storytelling, tourism, events, and creating short-form content that feels immersive, entertaining, and authentic. We are currently seeking contractors local to or near: Chandler Plano Detroit Position Overview The Tour Content Creator Contractor will attend at least one Mic Drop Tour per week to capture video/reel content for social media and promotional use. Contractors will work closely with the Mic Drop Tours and marketing teams to help showcase the atmosphere, storytelling, guest experience, local history, and unique personality of each tour. This position is for an initial 4 month period, with an opportunity to extend the contract based on performance and meeting content expectations.

Content may include:

Ghost Tours History Walks Crimes of Speech Tours UFO Tours Seasonal or themed walking tours Special event tours Responsibilities Attend a minimum of one tour per week Capture high-quality vertical video and photos during tours Create short-form content for: Instagram Reels TikTok YouTube Shorts Facebook/Meta content

Capture:

Tour guide moments Guest reactions Historical landmarks Atmospheric/B-roll footage Behind-the-scenes moments Crowd interactions and immersive storytelling moments Submit edited content in a timely manner Follow branding and content direction provided by the Mic Drop marketing team Assist with identifying viral, educational, or trend-friendly moments from tours Create simple captions, CTAs, trending audio suggestions, and hook ideas Content Requirements Submit a minimum of 4 original reels weekly promoting various Mic Drop Comedy Tours at the corresponding location Reels should focus on: Ghost Tours History Walks Crimes of Speech Tours UFO Tours Seasonal and themed tour experiences Content should highlight: Local history Tour storytelling Guest experience Atmospheric moments Landmarks and locations Funny, engaging, or immersive moments from tours All reels must: Be fully edited upon submission Include clever on-screen text, hooks, or calls-to-action (CTA) Include music/audio or trending sounds when appropriate Be formatted for vertical short-form platforms Be between 15-89 seconds in length Contractor is expected to capture original footage while attending tours weekly Content should be optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts Contractor Expectations Must provide own phone and/or camera equipment Comfortable filming in low-light/night environments Reliable transportation to and from tours Strong communication and professionalism Ability to work independently Comfortable interacting with guests, tour guides, and staff Interest in history, paranormal storytelling, tourism, or entertainment is strongly preferred Compensation $500/month contractor position Flexible scheduling based around tour calendar Opportunity for additional content assignments and event work through Broken Drift Productions and Mic Drop Comedy Ideal Candidate This role is perfect for someone who: Loves social media and short-form video Enjoys storytelling and immersive experiences Wants to build a content portfolio Has an interest in local history, ghost stories, comedy, tourism, or entertainment Understands modern short-form content pacing and trends Applying To apply, contractors should email Megan@MicDropComedy.com and Hillary@BrokenDrift.
