• Career advancement opportunities Job Summary The Location Manager coordinates rail activities among Watco departments and the co-located Customer.

This role is responsible for achieving performance goals with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost control.

Key duties include managing annual operating budgets, monitoring expenses, maintaining market awareness to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Supervisory duties include the selection, training, and performance management of on-site Team Members.

• Manage, direct, and provide insight and follow-up on all aspects of the railroad operation
• Coordinate daily operations with the co-located Customer
• Establish performance goals and quality standards while monitoring all facets of the railroad to ensure profitability
• Maintain sufficient experience and equivalent working knowledge of railroad operations
• Manage and ensure positive relationships with all Customers, Team Members, support teams, Class I partners, and other Watco affiliates
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed and administered fairly and equitably Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to pass and/or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required by this and location.
