Job Description

Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Gastroenterology Bend, OR Contract Contract Description . This on-site, contract position presents an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to make a significant impact in the medical practice industry. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive gastroenterological services. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing patient outcomes and improving the overall quality of care in our practice. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Assist in diagnostic procedures and interpret results Provide patient education and support regarding gastrointestinal health Collaborate with medical staff to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records Participate in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology practices and protocols Requirements Associate degree in Nursing or related field Current NP or PA certification and state licensure Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in gastroenterology Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Strong organizational and time management skills Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Schedule:
7 on/7 off, 8 or 12-hour shifts
Duties:
Rounding and ED consults
Support Staff:
Gastroenterologist on-call Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
