Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Tenens Dentist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dental care within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. This position offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise in general dentistry and specialized procedures to improve oral health outcomes. As a temporary, paid role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team committed to providing comprehensive dental services while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Your expertise will help create healthier smiles and foster positive patient experiences every day. This is for temporary coverage for 90 days. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques. Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Educate patients on oral health care, preventive practices, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental wellness. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to pediatric patients (pediatrics) and general dentistry needs. Ensure aseptic technique and infection control standards are upheld during all clinical procedures to safeguard patient safety. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a dentist with experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, or general dentistry preferred. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques. Strong understanding of infection control practices, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation standards. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other restorative procedures. Ability to work efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques in a fast-paced clinical environment. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and delivering compassionate service to diverse populations including pediatrics. $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per day
