Lodging Manger

The Cliffs Resort on Possum Kingdom Lake is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Lodging Manager to oversee the daily operations of our lodging facility, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient operations, and high standards of service. The Lodging Manager will supervise staff, and maintain the property to ensure safety, comfort, and profitability. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the lodging facility, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by resolving concerns promptly and professionally Manage reservations, occupancy rates, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue Supervise, train, and schedule staff; conduct performance evaluations Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain quality standards Monitor budgets, control expenses, and prepare financial reports Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulations Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers Maintain property appearance and ensure timely maintenance and repairs Analyze operational performance and implement improvements Qualifications 2+ years of experience in hotel, resort, or lodging management Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Knowledge of property management systems (PMS) and booking software Ability to manage budgets and financial reports Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred Skills Experience with Northstar software is a plus Bilingual abilities (a plus) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Familiarity with compliance and safety standards We offer a competitive salary plus excellent benefits.
