Logistics Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Ocean & Air Export Agent for a logistics company in Gardena, California. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong international shipping knowledge and hands-on experience managing export operations from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of export experience and be proficient in CargoWise.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage ocean and air export shipments from booking through final deliveryPrepare and process export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, AES filings, and other required shipping documentsEnsure compliance with all international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company proceduresCommunicate with carriers, steamship lines, airlines, truckers, overseas agents, and customers regarding shipment status and schedulingArrange bookings and monitor cargo movement to ensure timely departures and deliveriesEnter and maintain accurate shipment data in CargoWiseTrack shipments, troubleshoot delays, and resolve issues proactivelyPrepare freight quotes and support customers with shipment inquiriesAudit shipping documents and billing for accuracyMaintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
