Logistics Coordinator

Shipping Logistic Coordinator Job Summary:

The Shipping Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the shipping and receiving of goods to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery. This role oversees the routing of PTM drivers, along with reviewing shortages and tracking supplier shipments. Communication with drivers, suppliers and internal teams daily, and working on resolving any logistics issues that arise.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide routeddirectionsto PTM drivers to support both production and prototype needs Communicate with warehouses, vendors,internalcustomersandtransportation providers to ensure on-time deliveries Create shipping documentation and print packing list, BOL, and commercial invoices Load and unload trucks to keep material flow Receipt, verification, and followcheck sheetsfor incoming material receipts and inventory Resolve shipping delays, damages, or discrepanciesin a timely manner Maintainaccuraterecords of shipments, inventory movements, andlogisticsactivities Responsible for organization and cycle countingof material Optimizeshipping routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency Collaborate withcustomer service, program management,purchasingand operations teams Bring 5Sideas and activities to the team to make improvements to processesand material flow

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and regulations Experience withlogisticsor ERP software (e.g., SAP,Oracle, Plex) Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail Time management and prioritization Analytical thinking Customer service Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years of experience in shipping,logistics, or supply chain coordination 1-3 years of experience with cycle counting/or inventory management

Physical Requirements:

Shared time between sitting at a desk working on a computer, working on a stand-upHilo, and physical standing, bending, lifting on the warehouse floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Must be able tolift35-50pounds at times.
