Job Description

At Mobile Air & Power Rentals , we provide innovative cooling, heating, dehumidification, and power solutions for our customers nationwide. We rent out a vast array of equipment, including portable air conditioners, chillers, heaters, generators, and related rental equipment, helping our customers support critical operations and projects across multiple industries. We are immediately hiring a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team. Why Mobile Air? Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), purchase orders, and other shipping documentation as needed. Track shipments and proactively communicate updates or issues with carriers, customers, branches, and internal teams. Reconcile shipments with branch locations to ensure accurate transfers of rental equipment and ancillary items. Identify shipment discrepancies and assist in resolving inventory or logistics-related issues. Maintain accurate shipment, transfer, and inventory records within company systems. Assist with improving logistics processes and inventory control best practices. Provide operational support and backup coverage for the Senior Logistics Coordinator during PTO, increased business demands, or other operational needs. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support. Deliver excellent customer service while supporting branch and operational needs across multiple regions. We're looking for the following skills/experience: Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in logistics, transportation coordination, dispatching, operations support, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products, ERP systems, email, and internet-based applications. Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to prioritize and take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with branches, vendors, and internal teams. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check prior to employment.
Work Schedule:
This position may require participation in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
