Logistics Coordinator - Hammond Location Hammond, LA Job Category Supply Chain Management & Warehouse Division Intralox Intralox, L.L.C., has a position available for a Logistics Coordinator who will provide support for internal and external customers, vendors, suppliers, agents, and governmental agencies to ensure the logistics and compliance of shipments. This position will report to the Logistics Supervisor. Responsibilities:

• Selecting the most effective logistics provider to be used for shipments and confirming that all import/export cargo moves as scheduled.
• Working with freight forwarders, carriers, and brokers to ensure that all shipments reach their final destination on-time and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Communicating with our Customer Service department and customers on the status of shipments that are in-transit. Providing track and trace of international and domestic shipments including working to release shipments delayed by audits and inquires.
• Entering shipment data into carrier systems
• Confirming shipment carriers and loading trucks
• End of day system closeouts
• Package and transport goods to other workstations
• Weigh, label, and record order information in computer system
• Safely operate wood working tools, including pneumatic nail and staple gum, radial saw, table saw, and strapping devices
• Safely operate various lift equipment
• Work overtime, flexible schedules, and weekends as required

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to do multiple tasks and solve problems in a timely manner.
• Oracle and Kewill experience
• Experience with freight carrier systems and packaging
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Minimum 1year experience in logistics, international transportation and traffic, import/export related field.
