Logistics Coordinator Summary:
Reporting to the Sales & Production Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will oversee and facilitate Joseph & Sons Inc.'s supply chain operations. You will coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities, be self-driven, and have a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of various channels, aiming for maximum efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage inbound and outbound calls on time. Identify customer needs, clarify information, & provide solutions as needed. Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations. Ensure premises, assets, and communication methods are used effectively. Communicate with trucking companies to achieve mutual satisfaction. Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements. Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, bills of lading, etc. Prepare accurate reports for management.
Skills/Qualifications:
Must possess good computer skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required; as well as the utmost level of organization. Ability to solve problems and manage customer expectations. Spanish-speaking skills will help in communication with various departments and trucking companies.
This position is part-time:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
