Job Description:

Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Manager with hands-on experience in heavy haul quoting and freight estimating . The ideal candidate will be directly involved in estimating transportation and trucking costs, including heavy haul loads ranging from 30,000 to 160,000 pounds (up to 13 axles) . This role requires expertise in pricing, logistics planning, and strong analytical skills, with some sales responsibilities to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate quotes and estimates for heavy haul and general trucking projects. Analyze transportation and freight costs, including labor, equipment, and permits, to optimize pricing strategies. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Oversee logistics operations, including order fulfillment, inventory control, and transportation planning. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution. Maintain detailed records of estimates, quotes, and logistics data for reporting and analysis. Participate in sales efforts related to heavy haul and logistics solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in heavy haul quoting, freight estimating, or transportation cost analysis . Direct involvement in pricing, quoting, and estimating trucking or freight projects. Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation planning, and supply chain management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work in-person and support hands-on logistics operations.
