Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and internal logistics activities. This position is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient material flow, accurate inventory control, timely shipping/receiving, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and execution capability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:
•Warehouse Operations Management:
Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, staging, loading, and shipping. •Shipping & Receiving Control:
Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are processed accurately and on time (documentation, labeling, packing, BOL preparation). •Inventory Control & Accuracy:
Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counting, system transactions, FIFO control, and regular reconciliation. •Weekly Cycle Count Execution:
Conduct weekly cycle counts for raw materials, sub-materials, and packing materials, and ensure inventory accuracy through timely system reconciliation. •Internal Logistics & Material Flow:
Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production line to support continuous production without shortage or overstock. •Finished Goods Production & Label Control:
Verify finished goods production results daily/weekly and generate/print finished goods labels to support proper packing, storage, and shipping processes. •Team Leadership:
Manage warehouse associates and drivers, including task assignment, coaching, attendance monitoring, and performance feedback. •Safety & Compliance:
Enforce safety policies (forklift operation, PPE, 5S), conduct safety observations, and lead corrective actions for any incidents. •Process Improvement:
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvement projects to enhance productivity, space utilization, and accuracy. •Cross-Functional Coordination:
Communicate and coordinate with production, purchasing, quality, and logistics partners to resolve issues and prevent disruptions.Qualifications:
•Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate or Bachelor preferred). •Experience:
minimum 5 years of warehouse/logistics experience in manufacturing; minimum 3 years in a supervisory role preferred. •Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of inventory systems / ERP transactions; strong Excel and reporting capability. •Core Competencies:
Leadership, problem-solving, attention to detail, multitasking, and strong communication skills.Pay:
$57,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:
