• Full-time We are seeking a motivated self-starter who can effectively manage their time and maintain remote communication via phone.

A successful driver will be passionate about going above and beyond to get loads delivered safely. The ideal candidate will have an excellent safety record and driving experience.

Heavy Haul Driver Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently load and deliver oversized and overweight loads. Be able to load and unload equipment on low-boy trailers. Position chains, straps, and binders to secure loads during transit. Ability to read and understand maps and routing. Knowledge of state laws for oversize and overweight loads. Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment. Maintains records in compliance with DOT regulations. Consistent communication with dispatcher and job foremen/superintendents. Understands and follows directions regarding job needs. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Works various shifts based on the needs of the job. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record required. 3 years of Commercial Driving experience. 2 years of Heavy Haul Driving experience. Experience with multi-axle RGN trailers. Pass all drug and/or alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations. Must be able to meet all physical requirements of the position. Must have a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Preferred:

Machine operating experience for loading and unloading. Ability to read and understand maps and routing. Working knowledge of industry practices and regulations. Strong, effective written and verbal communication with the ability to interact well with others. Adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills.
