Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary liaison for prospective families at the Forman Center, guiding them through the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment Conduct tours for prospective families, with a primary focus on the Forman Center, while also supporting tours at the Stern Center Manage a portfolio of applicants, including tracking applicant progress, coordinating visits, and ensuring timely communication with families Support recruitment efforts by helping to identify and engage prospective families including outreach to feeder schools, community organizations and synagogues particularly those in the Northern Suburbs. Partner with the Director of Enrollment to plan and execute admissions and recruitment events across both campuses (visiting days, open houses) Collaborate with faculty and administrators to ensure a strong and seamless visit experience for applicants Partner with faculty and administrators to evaluate applicants and support admissions decisions Maintain accurate records and assist in data tracking related to admissions and enrollment Support communication efforts, including follow-up with prospective families and coordination of admissions materials Cultivate relationships with current families to support retention and word of mouth recruitmentJob Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Experience in education, admissions, or a customer-facing role preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks Collaborative, flexible, and eager to be part of a team-oriented environment Experience with Google suite, Blackbaud or a different enrollment management system a plus Ability to work occasional evenings and Sundays with advance notice Familiarity with the Greater Philadelphia Jewish community, particularly the Northern Suburbs, is preferred Perelman Jewish Day School provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. Compensation for this position will range from $55,000 to $65,000, is commensurate with experience, and includes a competitive benefits package. Paid time off includes Jewish and secular holidays, two lengthy school vacations, and additional PTO.
