We are an established Counseling and Wellness Center with an immediate opening for a Children's Play Therapist (10 to 12 hours) who believes in a wholistic approach to comprehensive well-being. Our Therapists, Psychiatry Evaluator, Class Instructors and Wellness Practitioners are available to help our clients on their path to well-being. Airmid Children's Play Therapy Center Airmid has served children since the inception of our practice in 2015. Our therapists provide evidence-based therapies for children, adolescents and adults of all ages. We're very proud of the community and peer recognition of our Children's Play Therapy Center with four play therapy rooms, incorporating traditional Play and Sand Tray Therapy, puppets, art, and our Somatic Movement Therapy Room. Somatic Movement is an innovative mental health therapy facilitated by our experienced counselors and designed for children and adolescents who have experienced complex stress and traumatic exposures, including medical procedures, loss, neglect, emotional maltreatment, physical abuse, accidents, severe bullying, witness to violence in the home or community, or impaired caregiving due to medical or mental illness, incarceration, or substance abuse. Our Healing Arts team members provide; Yoga (kids, adults & family), Massage, Meditation, Acupuncture, Reiki, Pelvic Therapy, TRE® (Tension and Trauma Release Exercises) and more! We also offer online as well as small and intimate in-person classes and multiple support groups with personal attention for all ages and experience levels. We'll provide you with administrative support services and clients to see on your own schedule in our professionally furnished offices conveniently located in the Hartsville Professional Village in Warminster, PA. We have a comfortable waiting area and ample free parking. If you are insurance carrier credentialed that's a plus! Certifications in Play Therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, EMDR or other evidence-based therapies or areas of specialized focus are helpful as well but not required. You'll set your own hours, but will need to be available two or three days a week to see kiddos and teens for late afternoon and early evening appointments.
