The LPI Maintenance Technology Lead (MTL) supports the LPI Maintenance team by providing technical leadership, equipment oversight, and operational support. Reporting to the LPI Power Generation Maintenance Service Leader (LPIPGMSL), the MTL assists with training, troubleshooting, repairs, and guidance to operations personnel. This role provides feedback on equipment performance, technology challenges, and potential product improvements, communicating weekly with the LPIPGMSL and LPI Maintenance Manager. The LPI MTL supports new equipment rollout, testing, and validation at both the manufacturer and site levels prior to deployment. The MTL collaborates with LPI staff, vendors, and the training department to support district-level training and development of training materials. Responsibilities also include tracking and investigating equipment failures, identifying processes, equipment, and training gaps, and driving improvements to prevent future failures. Strong organizational, leadership, and technical expertise in energy service equipment are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Technical or Mechanical Trade School Certificate or Diploma Minimum 5 years of oil & gas or heavy equipment/generator experience (onshore, offshore, or both) At least 5 years of field operations experience Strong understanding of machinery, equipment, and maintenance practices Must pass the CNG certification for the Railroad Commission of Texas Valid driver's license Indicators & Attributes for

Primary Responsibilities:
Transfer innovative technologies, software, and processes from LAET to Liberty Power Innovations. Oversee first-article testing of new equipment at vendors and internal build facilities. Support the development and deployment of training materials for new technologies. Provide feedback on equipment performance during field deployment. Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and effectively. Identify and execute reliability and cost-improvement initiatives. Monitor equipment readiness, efficiency, and operational performance. Coordinate with LAET production teams, third-party vendors, QA, and engineering on equipment improvements. Track and review equipment upgrades and modifications. Comply with all company and client HSE policies. Perform other duties as assigned.
