• Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse with a current Louisiana LPN license.

Must have knowledge of HIPAA and EHR. Must be dependable, energetic, compassionate, able to multi task. Willing to learn and work with computers. Must work well with others and be a part of our team of caring professionals. Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm. No nights/weekends/holidays JOB Duties Include but are not limited to: Managing an orderly and efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, instructing patients on collecting any necessary samples/tests and obtaining vitals. Notifying patients of test results and follow-up appointments. Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions. Managing patient records including making chart entries that are made timely and posting lab/tests and examination results. Assisting with the preparation of supplies and equipment and aiding the physician during treatment, exam, and testing of patients. Schedule tests and treatments including arranging referrals to a specialist and obtaining authorizations when directed by the provider. Returning patients phone messages. Must be willing to learn about new CMS programs and implement.
